Kids do the Darndest Things

Not long ago (Jan 21st to be exact), I went into the bathroom opened the lid to the toilet (which we have been careful about keeping closed for some time now), and discovered this:

 James is convinced that Liam dropped something into the toilet and sent in the emergency troops to retrieve it because we found both his ambulance and his fire truck.  I'm convinced that we are in for a whole lot of trouble!  Here's me fishing them out:

In other news, I've found a photo album in the washing machine, my keys in the humidifier, and teabag in the medicine drawer and my prayer beads in his baby bath.  It's always an adventure!

I've tried to post videos a few times in the last month or so and it hasn't worked, but finally here's a short one from mid January of Liam playing with his friend Stirling.  She's about 5 months older than him, but they seem to get along really well and are so funny to watch.  On this occasion I sort of caught the tail end of their game, but it seemed to be some kind of peek a boo game involving the curtains and screeches and running away from each other.  I feel like Liam keeps developing new skills and his response to things is changing all the time.  Even just the way he is actually interacting so much with other small people is so fun.
